You will be responding to customers who request the information we hold about them.You'll communicate effectively with customers, and other Oranga Tamariki teams and external agencies.Key responsibilities include: Make confident, sound decisions Apply the principles of the Privacy Act 2020 Strong attention to detail with accuracy Handling sensitive and confidential information Building strong team relationships and providing excellent customer service Knowledge and experience working with standard office software products e.g. Word, Excel Ability to work autonomously Mōu | About you We’re looking for someone with: Strong organisational and time management skills Proven experience in customer service and information management Excellent communication skills Resilience, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities A team-focused attitude and a sense of humour Experience with problem solving, dealing with issues, and identifying solutions Sensitivity and understanding of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Have a private office space with fast reliable internet access A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience is preferable but not essential Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. nnual remuneration for this position starts between $62,500 and $65,639 dependant on experience.We offer a vibrant and supportive team, that values continuous improvement, flexible work options, and a genuine commitment to wellbeing.
