This new asset class supports nature protection and provides sustainable financial returns.We are seeking an Asset Controller to join our Controlling team based in Geneva. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the weekly and monthly reporting from investment entities, including business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.This role involves close collaboration with the financial controllers of local entities to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely information through a cloud-based reporting system. It also requires coordination with other internal departments such as treasury, middle office, and financial reporting to align and reconcile key financial data.Strong analytical, accounting, and consolidation skills are essential, preferably under IFRS. The Asset Controller position is based in Geneva and may require occasional travel.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for A-to-Z weekly & monthly reporting process (preparing instructions, mappings, reporting templates, managing compliance with deadlines, reviewing local reporting & preparing final deliverables for management);Providing hands-on assistance to the local teams to ensure their reporting is high quality and on-time;Contributing to the integration of new acquisitions, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards on business combinations and equity pickups, streamlining and centralizing of finance processes;Preparing financial statements & ad hoc consolidations;Coordinating and managing relationship with auditors & resolution of audit issues across different regions;Overseeing financial forecasting and budgeting and ensuring timely preparation of all financial reporting (D+10 business days);Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and data integrity.Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders to support strategic financial decision-making. Qualifications and SkillsBachelor and/or Master’s degreeCIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA designation is preferred4 or more years professional experience requiredExperience with SAP and/or commodities sector is an advantageExcellent time management, organization, task prioritization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent capabilities in Excel and other MS office applicationsMotivated, reliable and self-starterTeam player with a positive and entrepreneurial attitudeAbility to work under pressure, to tight deadlinesHands-on and solution-orientedFluent English
