Location: RemoteWorking Hours: Minimum 20 hours per weekReporting To: Senior Asset Manager / Portfolio Management LeadWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of asset management, including portfolio analysis, investment research, risk assessment, and market evaluation. The role is designed to offer practical learning in a professional environment and complies with relevant labor laws, including Sections 44-47 of the UK National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and the US Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).Key Responsibilities:As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and assist the asset management team in:Portfolio Analysis & Performance Tracking, Assisting in evaluating portfolio performance, analyzing asset allocations, and identifying potential improvements.Market & Investment Research, Conducting research on financial markets, asset classes, economic trends, and emerging investment opportunities.Risk Management, Supporting risk assessment and mitigation strategies, including analyzing portfolio risks and market volatility.Investment Strategy & Decision Support, Assisting in preparing reports and recommendations for investment strategies based on data-driven analysis.Fund Management Support, Helping track fund flows, monitor investment performance, and prepare investment reports.Investor Relations & Reporting, Assisting with investor communication, preparing client reports, and maintaining investment databases.Financial Modeling & Valuation, Gaining exposure to financial modeling techniques used for asset valuation and performance forecasting.Operational Support, Helping organize investor meetings, presentations, and investment discussions.Regulatory & Compliance Research, Understanding key regulations affecting asset management and assisting with compliance-related documentation.Eligibility Criteria:Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Investment Management, or a related field.Strong interest in asset management and investment analysis with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, professional environment.What You'll Gain:Hands-on experience in asset management, including portfolio analysis, investment research, and risk assessment.Exposure to real-world investment strategies, financial markets, and decision-making processes.Enhanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.A Certificate of internship completion and potential recommendation letters based on performance.If shortlisted, someone from the HR Team will contact you for the next steps.
