Designed to cater to the evolving needs of domestic and international students, it will be one of the most exclusive student accommodations in the country.To lead this exciting project, we are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Accommodation Manager to oversee the entire journey from pre-opening strategy to full-scale operations. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of launching a best-in-class student living experience under a new brand and shaping a dynamic team from the ground up.Job Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day site operations, taking ownership of key operational areas, such as resident engagement, compliance, maintenance coordination, and staff support whilst supporting the broader accommodation function and contributing to key administrative and management functions. • May be required to assume full control, including decision-making authority in the absence of the Accommodation Manager, ensuring continuity of service and operational efficiency. • Conjunction with the Accommodation Manager has responsibility for the operations and day-to-day running of the site following EPIISOD policies and procedures. Reporting directly to the Accommodation Manager of the site, the Assistant Accommodation Manager will ensure the site is achieving its business objectives in all areas and the delivery of day-to-day operations of the site. • Ensure that quality and service within the site is maintained to agreed standards, with consideration made to the site's residents, visitors, and primary stakeholders. • The key areas within this role are as follows: Operations, Facilities Management, Sales and Marketing and Resident LifeSkills and Qualifications • A degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field is preferred but not essential. • Minimum 5 years' experience in operational management within student accommodation, hospitality, or a similar residential sector. • Pre-opening experience is an advantage. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, coordinate teams, and build strong relationships at all levels. • Mature, confident, and highly professional with excellent interpersonal skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as database management systems such as StarRez. • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Occasional travel may be required. • Current National Police Check. • Current 'Working with Children' Check.
