Academic programs reside in 19 schools and colleges, including our newly established School of Medicine.About The College/Unit/DepartmentThe School of Computing (SoC) is a growing and congenial school of 46 faculty within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering. The SoC has nearly 1850 undergraduate students, and 220 graduate students, and offers the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, B.S. and MS degrees in Data Science, and an M.S. degree in Cybersecurity and Privacy. The school also contributes to a number of other programs on campus, like M.S and Ph.D degrees in Artificial Intelligence (AI), B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and B.A. in Cognitive Science. In addition to the areas in which we are recruiting, our faculty cover a broad range of research interests, including Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence (broadly defined to also include computer vision and robotics), Bioinformatics, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Security and Privacy, Computational Science, and Computer Systems (including parallel, distributed, embedded, real-time, and high-performance computing).
