Tip Top Bakeries NZ, part of the George Weston Foods (GWF) group, is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Brand Manager to support the growth of our baking portfolio. We’re one of the few FMCG companies in New Zealand that owns every step of the process — from concept to delivery — giving our teams the opportunity to shape the brand at every stage.About the RoleAs Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to:Develop and execute brand plans and marketing strategiesSupport new product development, packaging, sampling, and communicationsAnalyse market and brand performance to uncover insights and opportunitiesManage marketing budgets and collaborate across teams to deliver successful campaignsWhat You’ll BringA degree in Commerce, or Marketing (required)1–2 years’ experience in FMCG, retail or a similar industry (preferred)Strong analytical and financial skills (basic P&L, budget management)Curious, proactive, and a results-driven mindsetExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDigital marketing know-howPassion for brands and a desire to understand consumer behaviourFlexible and agile, with a hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck inStrong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligenceAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressureOpen-minded and receptive to feedbackA growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adaptResilience and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?At Tip Top Bakeries, we’re proud of our people and our brands.
