The role requires strong analytical capability, customer-centric mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to convert insights into actionable strategies that deliver growth, profitability and brand impact.Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy & PlanningSupport in development of annual and seasonal line plans aligned with business goals and consumer insights.Identify assortment gaps and opportunity areas using data and trend analysis.Track competitor positioning, launches and pricing strategies.Product Lifecycle ManagementCoordinate with design, sourcing and production to ensure timely product development and launch.Analyse sell-through, inventory and product performance to drive in-season actionsManage and review category pricing strategy periodically.Data & InsightsTrack category performance KPIs including revenue, margins, inventory health and sell-through.Conduct consumer research and leverage feedback to steer product direction.Develop post-launch reviews and performance reports.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with Marketing to design effective go-to-market plans aligned to positioning and launch priorities.Liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to optimise stock planning and replenishment cycles.Partner with Finance on budgeting, margin tracking and financial impact of category decisionsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Retail or related fields (MBA preferred).2-4 years of experience in category management or strategy roles in fast paced environmentsStrong analytical and Excel proficiencyExcellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.Key TraitsCustomer-focused with results orientation.Insight-driven decision maker with strong commercial acumen.Detail-oriented, structured and process-driven, with agility to adapt.Strong execution mindset with end-to-end ownership.
