KBW Financial Is Seeking An Assistant Controller For a Growing Business Services Provider In The Attleboro MA Area. A Recent Acquisition Ihas Expanded Its Footprint And Created The Need For This New Position On The Accounting Team. The Assistant Controller Will Oversee a 10 Person Team And Support The Controller In Monthly Reporting. Hybrid 3 Days Per Week In Office. Additional Details Include Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general accounting, A/R, A/P, job costing, and management reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop team members. Assist the Controller in evaluating, improving, and ensuring compliance with financial and business procedures. Partner with the Controller and leadership team to prepare business activity reports. Allocate finance staff resources to resolve accounting discrepancies. Participate directly in accounting activities, including sales tax preparation and audit support. Contribute to key finance and business initiatives, such as: Supporting integration efforts for potential acquisitions. Driving continuous improvement initiativesRequirements Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with a strong foundation in accounting principles (public accounting or general ledger experience preferred). Experience in financial reporting, month-end close, accounting operations, and audit preparation. Ability to thrive in a high-volume, data-driven environment that leverages technology tools; Oracle NetSuite experience preferred Background in dynamic, evolving businesses with national operations and revenues exceeding $100 million strongly preferred. Industry experience in technical business services, contract-driven business models, or retail highly valued.
