What You Will Be Working On Conduct research on security developments Support bilateral and multilateral defence engagements Produce and present findings to military leaders and relevant stakeholders Support branch workplan and expertise development Strategise military-to-military engagement needs Maintain oversight of strategic thinkingChallenge(s) Appraising complex, evolving issues quickly and effectively Synthesising large amounts of information into coherent assessments for non-specialist stakeholdersWhat We Are Looking For Education in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies or related field At least 6 years of relevant experience Relevant knowledge of countries of interest Good command of English language and strong writing skills Aptitude for languages Good analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable to work in a team or independently Ability to explore and identify new areas of research relevant Interest and knowledge on current political and defence developments, and their implications to the country-of-interest and the international order Interest in defence and military affairs, history, with a focus on AsiaOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
