Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Distribution Centre operates efficiently, safely, and effectively to deliver outstanding service to our customers.The OpportunityIn this role you’ll be responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring goods flow seamlessly through the supply chain and that customer orders are delivered on time and in full. You’ll use your leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills to optimise resources, maintain productivity, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the DC.Key Responsibilities:Support the management of daily DC operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levelsPlan and coordinate labour and resource allocation to meet operational targetsDrive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementLead, coach, and develop Team Leaders to build a high performing, engaged teamCollaborate with internal teams including Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure effective communication and delivery outcomesChampion health and safety initiatives with a focus on “Zero Harm”Support system improvements and process innovations to enhance efficiency and reduce costsWhat You’ll Bring:In-depth understanding of distribution centre operations and logistics planningProven experience leading teams in a commercial or FMCG environmentStrong analytical and planning skills, with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and relationship management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse/ERP systems (SAP experience desirable)Commitment to Health & Safety best practice and continuous improvementTertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain or business (preferred)About YouYou are an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse or logistics environment.
