Job Description
Simaero is an international group specializing in airline pilot training, as well as the operation and maintenance of flight simulators. The company provides services to over 220 clients in more than 80 countries, through a network of over 30 flight simulators located across four training centers: Paris and Dinard (France), Johannesburg (South Africa), and Zhengzhou (China). Simaero also operates its own Approved Training Organization (ATO), certified by more than 50 aviation authorities worldwide, including EASA in Europe and SACAA in South Africa. The academy offers a full range of training programs across Airbus, Boeing, and ATR fleets, among others.1. Main MissionAssist the QHSE Director in implementing, monitoring, and improving quality, health, safety, and environmental processes to ensure compliance with aviation standards (EASA, DGAC) and applicable regulations.2. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality:Contribute to drafting and updating QHSE procedures, instructions, and forms.Develop and organize training sessions.Support internal and external audits (DGAC, EASA, ISO).Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Update quality indicators (KPIs) and produce regular reports.Health & Safety:Participate in organizing safety and risk-prevention training.Follow up on incidents and accidents, draft reports, and propose corrective measures.Ensure that equipment and facilities comply with HSE standards.Environment:Monitor waste management and hazardous substances in compliance with regulations.Contribute to the company’s carbon footprint assessment.Participate in implementing measures to reduce environmental impact.Administrative Support:Manage quality audits and QHSE documentation.Ensure regulatory monitoring relevant to aviation and flight-training activities.3. Profile RequiredEducation:Two- or three-year degree (Bac+2/3) in QHSE, Health, Safety & Environment, or equivalent.Experience:Minimum 3 years in a similar position, ideally in the aviation or aeronautical sector.Technical Skills:Knowledge of QHSE standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001; EASA Part-ORA preferred).Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with document-management and audit-tracking tools.Fluent English required.Soft Skills:Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail abilities.Initiative and autonomy.Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.4. Working ConditionsPosition based in Tremblay.Occasional travel to training or maintenance sites.Office-based work with regular visits to operational areas.
