Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.Job DetailsTo assist the Energy Officer to provide energy advice and expertise on all aspects of Energy Management to East Lothian Council.To help the Energy officer with the Local Authorities Carbon Management & Climate Change Obligations to which the Council is committed.To assist in providing advice on the Councils statutory obligations under current Government Legislation and other relevant regulations ensuring the Council is compliant.To help develop and implement a comprehensive energy management policy for all of the Council's operational and non-operational assets (property portfolio) assisting the Energy Officer to identify and explore new interventions and implement delivery to help contribute towards reducing energy, water consumption and carbon emissions.Please download the Job Outline/Person Specification (available under 'Job Attachments') for the full range of tasks and duties associated with this job.
