ADN Telecom Limited is looking for Assistant Engineer/EngineerJob Description / ResponsibilityProactively monitor core and regional network infrastructure and provide L1/L2 technical support for backbone links.Perform basic to intermediate configuration of routers, switches, and OLTs (Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper).Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues, including VLAN tagging, routing flapping (OSPF/BGP), and VPN tunnel stability.Handle escalations from the NOC/Front-end team and coordinate with the L3/NSS team for critical core failures.Coordinate with transmission partners (NTTNs) and upstream providers to resolve fiber cuts or upstream latency issues.Assist in analyzing bandwidth utilization and network latency to ensure optimal service delivery.Maintain accurate records of core configurations, IP assignments, and daily network health reports.Participate in a rotational roster to ensure 24/7 core network availability.Educational RequirementsBachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in CSE/EEE/ETE, or a related Engineering field.Skills Required: MTCNA, CCNP, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), JNCIA, JNCIPExperience Requirements1 to 2 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Telecommunication,ISPAdditional RequirementsGood hands-on command over MikroTik (MTCNA/MTCRE level), Cisco (CCNA level), and Juniper (JNCIA level).Practical knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and IP Subnetting.Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds and CACTI.Strong troubleshooting logic for identifying core vs. access network issues.Ability to handle high-pressure situations during major network outages.Good communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Job LocationDhaka
