An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fan Blade Manufacturing.As an Assistant Engineer (Manufacturing Services) under Seletar’s Wide Chord Fan Blade Facility within Rolls-Royce Singapore, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing services processes in areas of Quality, HSE and reporting to the Manufacturing Services Team. Our product portfolio powers more than 35 types of commercial aircraft, and with over 13,000 engines in-service around the world; we’re keeping the world flying.Key AccountabilitiesSupport and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment.Conduct machine troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure minimum production downtime.Work with Engineers to drive machine reliability improvement projects and implement sustainable solutions to recurring issues.Support equipment calibration, safety validation, and process qualification to meet engineering and quality standards.Participate in maintenance shutdown planning and execution to ensure all critical equipment and facility systems are maintain effectively.Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Laboratory, and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness forSupport continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and digital maintenance tools.Ensure compliance with HSE and Rolls-Royce maintenance standards.Maintain operator training and qualification requirements for operational asset cares.Assist Engineers in shopfloor activities to facilitate and minimize impact to operation e.g. supporting trials, data collection, briefing technical instructions. QualificationsDiploma in engineering or its equivalentDemonstrated technical experience or competency in an aerospace or complex manufacturing environmentDemonstrated background working within a high complexity manufacturing engineering environmentUnderstanding of reliability engineering, lean maintenance, and asset lifecycle management concepts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.Experience in the application of lean manufacturing methods, quality systems, new product introduction, product design and introductionHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with othersAble to inspire, motivate, and develop workforce and demonstrated effectiveness in finishing and delivering on commitmentsWe offer excellent opportunities to develop, along with a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
