Assistant Gift Designer - Kids

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Trending and market analyzation (includes current consumer and competitor research)Print/Pattern Design, illustration style geared towards the infant/toddler marketGraphic Design – strong font skillsSelecting pantones, fabrics and trimsExecution of designs with overseas vendors through an outlined sampling and development processApprovals for all design and production submitsSupport development team and sales team by preparing necessary visual toolsAbility to create illustrations and graphics in a variety of styles appropriate for baby and children’s productsHave an interest in/experience with product design for babies and children- toys, bibs, books, plush, etcCreate fun and modern illustrations and designs for printable itemsDevelop creative and innovative product designsObtain approvals for artwork, designs, color selections, and separations filesCorrespond with factories about design and color changes for artwork and productsUpdate and maintain the product archives and the project tracker as projects progressReceive, sort, and check samples for quality and accuracyRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Illustration, Graphic Design or related field0-1 years of product design/illustration experienceProficient in Adobe Suite (In-Design, Photoshop) with expertise in Adobe IllustratorExcellent organization and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain and build relationships with overseas vendorsHigh level of creativity paired with strong understanding of the Mud Pie aestheticUnderstanding of entire design and product development processBe able to work on deadlines and juggle multiple projects at onceOrganization with a dedication to details and final product qualityFlexibility and a positive attitude under pressurePowered by JazzHRlFEj52gzuJ
