Our programs are currently offered in 17 countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and partner organizations around the world.Position SummaryThe Assistant Impact & Data Manager plays a critical role in realizing Sinapis’ mission by ensuring all program activities are rigorously measured, evaluated, and communicated effectively. This role serves as the bridge between data integrity and meaningful impact communication. The Assistant Manager oversees systematic data collection, analysis, and management, translating complex quantitative and qualitative findings into accessible, evidence-based reports and compelling, human-centered impact stories. The role ensures that Sinapis continues to make data-informed decisions aligned with our mission to make disciples and alleviate poverty through entrepreneurship.Key ResponsibilitiesWho We Are Looking For Impact Measurement Management (IMM)Oversee and execute data collection, validation, analysis, and routine reporting to track impact indicators across all entrepreneur programs.Conduct routine data quality audits and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Prepare regular monitoring and evaluation (M&E) reports and lead metrics/analysis for the Annual Impact Report, synthesizing data into actionable insights for leadership. Data Tools DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain user-friendly data collection tools, dashboards, and management systems (Excel, CRM platforms, BI tools).Train program staff on data entry protocols and tools to improve data accuracy and real-time tracking.Manage the structure, security, and compliance of the central impact database. Theory of Change (ToC) ImplementationSupport implementation, monitoring, and review of the organization’s Theory of Change.Partner with program managers to map activities to outputs/outcomes and design logic models and data collection methods.Facilitate workshops ensuring program activities align with long-term outcomes. Thought LeadershipServe as a primary analyst for the Annual Impact Report and major external reports.Synthesize complex data and sector research into clear, evidence-based publications that position Sinapis as a leader in the social sector.Develop compelling visualizations and infographics. Impact StorytellingTranslate impact data and research into compelling, human-centered narratives.Build a library of case studies, testimonials, and multimedia content.Prepare high-quality content for fundraising proposals, grant applications, and stakeholder reporting (Board, donors, etc.).
