Role Description This is an on-site internship position for an Assistant Interior Designer located in Toronto, ON. The Assistant Interior Designer will support the design team by assisting with space planning, creating construction drawings, collaborating on interior design concepts, and sourcing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The role will include both conceptual design development and technical tasks to support the successful completion of various commercial and residential design projects. Candidates will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to creative projects while gaining practical experience in the field. Qualifications Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to help develop and support functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.Knowledge of Architecture and hands-on ability to assist with Construction Drawings for design implementations.Experience in sourcing and selecting Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) to match project specifications and overall design concepts.Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar is highly beneficial.Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
