We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects.Employee Benefits:100% paid base coverage (Health, Vision, & Dental insurance).401(k)Paid HolidaysPaid SickPaid VacationEAP - Employee Assistance ProgramO2EPCM, Inc. https://o2epcm.com/ Position: Assistant Land SurveyorSalary Range: $108,000 - $116,000Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)Type: Full-TimeDuties:9.1 Assist the Land Survey Party Chief in conducting field surveys, including boundaries,topographic, and as-built surveys for various district projects.9.2 Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments such as total stations, smart level, and datacollectors.9.3 Accurately measure distances, angles, and elevations, and record survey data according toestablished District and industry standards.9.4 Maintain detailed and legible survey field notes, sketches, and photographic records todocument survey conditions and findings.9.5 Upload and organize raw survey data for processing in CAD software.9.6 Mark and maintain survey control points, stakes, and monuments in the field to ensureconsistent reference for design.9.7 Ensure proper care, calibration, storage, and inventory of survey equipment, tools, and safetygear.9.8 Provide rapid field support for urgent and emergency survey requests, such as facility damageassessments, safety hazard evaluations, or time-sensitive construction issues.9.9 Comply with all safety protocols and ensure safe working conditions at survey sites, includingtraffic control when required.9.10 Performs Other Related Tasks Required.Required Experience:10.1 Three (3) years full-time paid professional experience in performing routine, non-technicalwork in a surveying party, including one (1) year on the job field training or experience10.2 Experience interpreting civil engineering drawings10.3 Experience in data collection by setting up and operating total stations, levels, GPS, andmeasuring lines, elevations and positionsRequired Education:10.3 Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in civilengineering or surveying, with courses in field surveying on both plane and route surveying(with three [3] years of experience)OR10.4 Two (2) years of civil engineering course work and four (4) years of experience as a memberof a field survey party performing land surveying work in making precis readings,measurements and tests in the field, including one (1) year in of the on-the-job field trainingKnowledge/Skills:10.4 Ability to make precise measurements10.5 Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations and create primary or basic civilengineering sketches10.6 CAD Software10.7 Excellent written and verbal communications skillsPreferred Certification:10.8 A valid Land Surveyor-In-Training Certificate, issued by the State Board of Registration forProfessional Engineers and Land SurveyorsPlease note, if you move forward in the submission process, you will be asked to provide the following below.Most updated resumeCertifications or Licenses obtained3-4 Professional ReferencesProject List with values, dates, and company of any projects workedO2EPCM, Inc. is a prominent award-winning experienced firm providing Professional, Technical, Consulting and Management Services in the Planning, Design, Engineering and Construction Industry to Local, State, Federal Government Agencies, Utility Companies and Private Clients.
