100% export oriented Knit Composite Factory is looking for Assistant Manager - Color Expert (Printing)Job Summary:This Position (Assistant Manager – Color Expert) plays a critical role in ensuring accurate color development, matching, and consistency across all printing processes in knit garments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in color science, ink formulation, shade matching, and maintaining color fastness standards. This role supports print development, production, and quality teams to achieve buyer-approved colors consistently from sample stage through bulk production. Key Responsibilities:Color Development & Matching:Lead the development of accurate and repeatable color shades for various print techniques (e.g., pigment, discharge, plastisol, puff);Match strike-off and bulk print colors with Pantone references or buyer-provided color standards;Ensure consistency in color across different batches and materials;Ink & Chemical Management:Supervise ink mixing and formulation for different print types on knit fabrics;Maintain shade library and formulation records for each style and buyer;Evaluate the compatibility of inks and chemicals with different fabric types and finishing processes;Quality Assurance:Check and approve lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk print trials before production runs;Ensure all color outputs meet buyer expectations and international color fastness standards (e.g., wash, rub, light);Address and resolve color-related issues during sample development and bulk production;Buyer & Team Coordination:Communicate with buyers or their representatives regarding color comments, approvals, and revisions;Work closely with the print development, QA, and production teams to maintain color accuracy during scale-up;Guide and train print technicians and color lab operators on color accuracy and control techniques.Technical & Compliance Oversight:Ensure all inks and chemicals used meet compliance requirements (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, ZDHC, REACH);Support in setting up lighting conditions (D65, TL84) for accurate visual color assessment;Recommend process improvements to minimize shade variations and rejections;Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Arts (MA)Skills Required: Email CommunicationsExperience Requirements5 to 7 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments,TextileAdditional RequirementsCandidate should have at least 2–3 years in a color specialist or supervisory role;Expert knowledge of color theory, shade matching, and ink formulation;Familiar with Pantone systems, spectrophotometers, and color assessment tools (Datacolor, GretagMacbeth, etc.);Strong knowledge of print processes in knit garments;Good command of MS Excel, color evaluation software, and report generation;Excellent communication skills in Bengali & English;Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.Job LocationGazipur
