Assistant Manager - Contract Management (Procurement)

Job Description

Position OverviewSynapxe Contract Management team provides contract management support not only for Synapxe’s own corporate contracts and also provide consolidated and centralised contract management support for the clinical, business and healthcare analytics IT systems of various public healthcare hospitals and institutions in Singapore. The senior contract management executive will assume the tasks and general responsibilities of the Contract Management team, with particular emphasis on drafting, review and preparation of Requests for Proposals and IT contracts.Role & ResponsibilitiesProvide contract management support to the ompany in the varied, dynamic and fast-paced areas of IT servicesDraft, review and preparation of various types of contracts and agreements, including IT contracts on system / software / hardware acquisition, maintenance contracts, non-disclosure agreements, addendums, etc., including finalisation, formatting and triggering contract signing via DocusignReview of schedules and requirement specifications for IT contracts, including service level agreements and functional / technical requirementsProviding general advice on contract validity and contract renewal documentationDrafting and preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and working with IT project managers on RFP and/or proposal clarificationsWorking closely with other functions in Procurement department and Legal department during the RFP and contract drafting processEnsure proper governance and approvals by stakeholders and senior management before final contract award and executionAdministrative duties such as filing, documenting and keeping official records of all contracts executed by the company and management of contracts, as well extraction of business reports for senior managementRequirementsBachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with prior experience gained as a paralegal with an MNC or with a reputable commercial law firmGood command of English with excellent grammar, vetting and writing skills is essential for this positionPossess an analytical mind, an eye for detail and basic knowledge of general contract lawGood communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with people at all levelsAble to provide sound advice on contract renewals and ensure compliance with internal corporate governance processesAble to work independently and effectively under pressureProficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft ExcelProficiency or experience in Ariba (e-Procurement System) will be an added advantageApply NowNOTE: It only takes a few minutes to apply for a meaningful career in HealthTech - GO FOR IT!!
