Your leadership will shape the future of payment operations, driving efficiency, integrity, and continuous improvement every step of the way.Join us in co-creating the future of RAKBANK!What You Will Be Doing:Lead and manage SWIFT payment processing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.Drive and support payment-related projects, including system upgrades, regulatory implementations, and process enhancements.Perform testing and contribute towards change management activities within the payments domain, ensuring minimal disruption to BAU.Collaborate with technology and business teams to implement ISO20022 standards and other payment innovations.Manage onshore and offshore teams, ensuring resource optimization and service continuity.Generate ideas for continuous improvement and innovation to align the unit with global standards.Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and payment industry standards.Identify and mitigate operational risks, proposing and implementing effective solutions.Promote cross-functional learning and development to build a resilient and agile team.Leverage automation and digital tools to streamline payment operations and reduce manual errors.What We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Professional certifications in payments (e.g., SWIFT Certified ISO20022 Payments Expert, CertPAY) are highly preferred.Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in payment operations, SWIFT processing, and project/change management within banking or financial services.Strong understanding of payment systems, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex payment projects.What You Should Have:In-depth understanding of SWIFT messaging formats and ISO20022 standards.Proven experience in managing payment-related projects and change initiatives.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and change control processes in financial services.Familiarity with banking systems and payment platforms.Ability to optimize processes for accuracy, speed, and compliance.Experience in managing diverse teams across geographies, fostering collaboration and accountability.Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Commitment to delivering high-quality service and resolving issues promptly.Dedication to continuous professional growth and team capability building.What’s In It for YouPay for performance culture (Competitive and performance-linked compensation)Diverse workforce and inclusive cultureCareer development and growth opportunities by designWork with the best minds in the fieldGet opportunities to bring your whole self to the organization and perform to your best.
