With convenient access to major highways, nearby amenities, and flexible land use options, investors are presented with unique opportunities for development and growth.Through the centralization of Dubai Holding’s land bank, Dubai Holding Land Estates focuses on large-scale master plans, ensuring alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, whilst also supporting the business’s commitment to sustainable urban development and strategic land portfolio management.Job Purpose:The Assistant Manager – Geospatial Data is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing geospatial information to support master planning, land development, infrastructure projects, and executive decision-making. By utilizing datasets from the Geospatial Data Bank (infrastructure, transportation, satellite imagery) and the Land Bank (plots, ownership records, master plans), the role produces insights, maps, dashboards, and analytical models that drive both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational decisions across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Geospatial AnalysisPerform advanced GIS analyses (e.g., network analysis, land use optimization, encroachment checks, accessibility studies, infrastructure impact assessments)Use geospatial modelling techniques to identify patterns, trends, and risks that inform planning and development strategies.Reporting & Decision SupportPrepare geospatial reports, studies, and presentations to support executive decision-making and authority submissions.Provide analytical outputs in clear, actionable formats (maps, dashboards, models) for internal teams and stakeholders.Visualization & MappingDevelop high-quality maps, dashboards, and thematic layers to visualize land ownership, master plans, infrastructure networks, and satellite imagery.Create scenario-based visualizations to support strategic planning and operational reviews.Land Bank InsightsAnalyze land ownership, residual plots, gifted lands, volumetric subdivisions, and master community areas.Support reconciliation of land-related data with authority records (DLD, DM, DDA).Data Bank InsightsConduct spatial analysis of infrastructure datasets (utilities, transportation, environment) and satellite imagery.Provide monitoring insights through change detection, spatial trend analysis, and infrastructure performance assessments.Collaboration & AdvisoryWork closely with planners, engineers, surveyors, legal, and finance teams to provide geospatial insights that enhance project delivery.Support management with ad-hoc geospatial analysis and strategic recommendations.Quality & ComplianceEnsure analytical outputs meet accuracy, reliability, and quality standards.Provide clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and results for reference and audit purposesKey Requirements:Bachelor’s or Associate degree in GIS, Cartography, or a related technical field with relevant work experience, or Certification in GIS software (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, Arc Map Pro certification, or equivalent)10 Years experience in related fieldGIS & Analytical ExpertiseProficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap and related GIS tools for advanced geospatial analysis.Strong capability in spatial modeling, network analysis, overlay, and scenario-based studies.Land & Infrastructure AnalysisSkilled in analyzing cadastral data, ownership records, master plans, and development layouts.Ability to interpret and assess infrastructure and transportation datasets to support planning and operations.Visualization & ReportingExpertise in creating professional maps, dashboards, and geospatial reports tailored for executive decision-making and authority submissions.Strong cartographic skills to deliver clear, accurate, and visually effective outputs.Remote Sensing & ImageryWorking knowledge of satellite imagery and aerial data for monitoring, change detection, and environmental assessments.Data Validation & Quality ControlAbility to verify and validate analytical outputs, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and compliance with standards.Problem-Solving & InnovationStrong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in land and infrastructure portfolios.Innovative use of GIS tools and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) to enhance analysis.Communication & CollaborationAbility to simplify and communicate complex spatial insights to non-technical stakeholders.Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with planning, engineering, legal, finance, and external authorities.About the Benefits:At Dubai Holding, we're committed to nurturing the success and well-being of our colleagues.
