Assistant Manager - Payroll and CompliancesPOSITION DETAILS:Designation: Assistant Manager Payroll and Compliance Business Unit: R&D Function: Human Resources Location: Mahape, Navi MumbaiReporting to: General Manager - Human ResourceDirect Reports : 0 ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSEThe incumbent is responsible for managing Attendance, leaves, payroll inputs , additional payout advice or necessary deductions and Full & Final settlement of R&D employees based out at Taloja Mahape and HO. As well as he / she will ensure all type of statutory compliances related with pay roll, factory / Shop and establishment act as well as other labour law compliances. The incumbent will also manage the employee data base through HRIS software. This roles require strong and good understanding of relevant software (HRIS, SAP, Excel), and sound knowledge of Indian labour laws.Role - Activities, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Monitor and record daily attendance for all employees using biometric systems. Track and report absenteeism, and manage attendance discrepancies. Ensure all type of payout advice to payroll as per commitment to the employees. Collate and validate all attendance, leave, and extra payouts data to provide accurate and timely inputs for payroll processing.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports on attendance, absenteeism trends, and F&F and Statutory compliance. Ensure to clear the F&F settlement on time and as per corporate guideline. Responsible for internal and external audits related with payroll and statutory compliances. Ensure all legal requirements are met, including those under the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, Employees' State Insurance Act, and the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act., Shop and establishment act etc. Maintain accurate statutory records, prepare and file all required periodic returns, and ensure timely deposit of statutory payments like PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax.Stay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations, and proactively inform stakeholders of their implications.*based on education, qualification and relevant experience.KEY RELATIONSHIPS/STAKEHOLDERS:ExternalGovernment authority’s Internal (other than Direct Reports)All employees and HOD’s Business leadersDESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Educational Qualifications Graduation in any discipline MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources or a related field such Master in Social Work, Diploma in Labour Law / LLBExperience 8 to 12 years in Payroll and Statutory compliances from Manufacturing plant or R&D set up. Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)Compensation and benefits SAP, Darwin box, HRIS software’s,Stakeholder management SkillPayroll processing.
