Job Purpose:The Resource- To serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, fostering a high-performance culture by aligning human resources initiatives with operational goals. This role is responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and development to employee relations and performance management, all while ensuring a safe, fair, and productive work environment that supports the plant's success.Position Overview:Location: Vallam - ChennaiPosition Title: Plant HRReports to: Manager-Human ResourcesFunction: Enabling Function - Human ResourcesWhat you’ll do:Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for plant employees , including sourcing, interviewing, and making hiring decisions. Develop and implement a robust onboarding program to ensure new hires are integrated effectively.Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts. Promote a positive work culture by implementing engagement initiatives, conducting stay interviews, and fostering open communication between management and staff. Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with labor laws. In unionized environments, this includes managing union contracts, handling grievances, and participating in collective bargaining.Reporting's: Prepares MIS reports related to employee cost, recruitment, attrition, etc. Should possess an ability to call out and highlight any issues and discrepancies. Analyzes data and provides recommendations. Should possess hands-on experience in using analytical tools as required.Employee Engagement: Plan and conduct monthly engagement/fun activities fostering belongingness and collaboration among employees. Conduct outdoor and indoor activities enabling sportsmanship and enhancing creativity among employees. What you'll bring:Experience: At least 3-6 years of Manufacturing experience in HRQualification : MBA/MSWSkills: Experience in Plant HR.Strong Communication skills
