Job Title: Assistant Manager Department: Project Management Location: Jubilant Biosys Ltd., Greater Noida, UP Terms: Full time, Permanent About us : Jubilant Biosys Ltd is a leading pharmaceutical Contract Research, Development & manufacturing organization (CRDMO) that provides comprehensive drug discovery services and contract research services–from target discovery to candidate selection and with flexible business models (FFS, FTE and risk shared)–in partnership with leading worldwide healthcare companies. About the Role: JBL is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to support the management of Drug discovery projects at Jubilant Biosys, Greater Noida. It’s a client facing role, where candidate is expected to manage diverse portfolio of short-term and long-term projects. Responsibilities: Follow and apply best project management practices, principles, methodologies as per PMBOK to ensure the projects delivered On Budget, On Time and quality to the best of customer satisfaction Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPoC) and serve as a primary liaison between the Company’s internal and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, outsourcing partners) to ensure project launch, execution, and closeout according to the contractual agreements. Work with Scientific teams in preparing detailed project plans for project execution; proactively identify risks and use appropriate response/ mitigation strategies to manage them. Maintain and track project progress by maintaining timelines and other tracking/analysis tools – MS projects or Smart sheets. Identify and manage all project related issues, work with appropriate enabling function for prompt resolution to avoid any negative impact on project schedule, budget or customer relationship Schedule & chair weekly/bi-weekly progress updates, record meeting notes and follow-up on the action items to ensure projects running on track. Prepare all project documentation in compliance with Project Management office (PMO) standards, processes, templates and appropriately maintain them in document management system (DMS) for easy retrieval & archival. Work with cross-functional teams (BD, SCM, Legal, IT, QA, CMS, Finance) and manage project operations smoothly with minimal supervision. Resolve internal issues/conflicts amicably and follow proper escalation matrix. Maintain revenue, resource utilization trackers and provide monthly summaries as part of Management Information System (MIS) reports. Provide regular, structured updates to the Manager, Project Leader and Senior Management as needed. Candidate requirements: Educational qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences – M. Pharm, M. Sc., MBA Industry Experience: For AM role: 4-10 years of core project management experience in pharmaceutical CRO/Drug discovery company with a basic understanding of Organic/Medicinal chemistry. Project Management Knowledge: an understanding of Project management principles, standards, processes, tools & techniques is essential. Software knowledge: MS Project and excel are highly desirable CAPM/PMP or equivalent certification is desired; however, is not mandatory. Soft skills: Good oral and written communication Good interpersonal skills and team player Adaptable & Multitasking Well organized and good time management
