About SAMH CSAYSAMH C’SAY provides engagement, screening, case management and intervention for youths, and engages youths for ongoing monitoring and support. As a CREST-Youth team, it also works actively with youth agencies, schools and community partners to provide holistic case management for youths and their families.Key Responsibilities For Assistant ManagerThe Assistant Manager provides leadership and oversees the CREST Youth team to ensure service delivery is in accordance to the intended programme objectives and care model for CREST programme as outlined under the terms & conditions of the Letter of Award/Addendum. This role requires the identified personnel to have the relevant competencies, with sufficient years of direct work experience and service with clients with mental health issues necessary for the purpose of supervision of staff in the respective field.He/She maintains an overview of the service planning and implementation of the CREST programme. He/She will work closely and provide guidance to the CREST team to achieve the CREST goals of outreach to increase mental health and public awareness, promote early identification and link those at risk and with needs to the appropriate support and resources, and provide follow up support.In addition, the Assistant Manager will establish and/or maintain networking with other community partners or agencies, for purpose of collaboration and facilitate care coordination.Educational/professional QualificationsMinimum a degree in Psychology or Social Work or relevant coursesSpecial Knowledge, Skills, Language, Etc. Experience working in Social Service Agencies, especially youth work will be an added advantage Experience with facilitation, case management counselling skills Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerpointExperience with and having skills in the arts (visual arts, music, drama, dance, etc.) and/or sports will be an added advantageRelevant Work Experience & No. Of YearsMinimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably some leadership experienceDesired personal traits Good interpersonal and communication skills Independent and able to work in a team Motivated and passionate to serve youths in mental health sector Organised and timeliness in keeping up with documentation Teachable and willing to learn, adapt and improve oneself Insightful and reflective
