Assistant Manager Finance

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager - Malaysia to support the Head of Finance in day-to-day operational and reporting activities. This role is ideal for someone who can manage high transaction volumes, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven financial environment.📍 Location: Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia notional💼 Experience: 5+ Years🗣️ Language : Chinese 🎓 Requirements✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (CGMA, CPA, or equivalent preferred)✔ Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in banking, investment, insurance, fintech, or similar financial sectors✔ Experience managing high transaction volumes✔ Strong knowledge of MFRS and regulatory compliance✔ Proficiency in accounting systems & Microsoft Office✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills✔ Excellent English communication skills✨ Key Responsibilities🔹 Financial Transaction Management – Handle large volumes of sales transactions and client settlements following internal and regulatory guidelines.🔹 Reconciliation – Perform GL reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.🔹 Debtors & Creditors Review – Conduct monthly reconciliation reviews.🔹 Financial Reporting – Prepare financial documents compliant with MFRS and support month-end closing with performance analysis.🔹 Documentation & Controls – Ensure all journal entries are supported and aligned with company policies and SOPs.🔹 Audit & Tax Compliance – Manage year-end audit and tax filings with timely, accurate submissions.🔹 Cross-Department Collaboration – Work with Sales & Dealing teams for financial adjustments and support customer invoicing and billing needs.🔹 Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to SST/GST, withholding tax, and other regulatory requirements.🔹 Other Responsibilities – Handle additional finance tasks assigned by management.
