The role supports strategic sourcing, risk mitigation, and compliance with internal and external regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Management Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for marine equipment, shipyard services, logistics, and technical supplies. Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Maintain a central repository of contracts and ensure timely renewals and amendments. Cost Savings Drive cost savings through contract negotiations. Secure cost reduction in expenses compared with previous contract. Achieve cost avoidance by actions taken to prevent future cost. Supplier Management Collaborate with suppliers to establish clear terms and conditions, performance metrics, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes. Risk & Compliance Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, trade laws, and company governance. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and technical teams to support procurement decisions. Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract terms and best practices. Continuous Improvement Develop and implement contract templates and standard operating procedures. Monitor market trends and legal developments affecting marine procurement. m Ust Have Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in marine or offshore procurement. Strong understanding of maritime industry standards, INCOTERMS, and international trade regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in contract lifecycle management tools and ERP systems. Legal or paralegal background is a plus. Experience with shipbuilding, vessel maintenance, or offshore logistics contracts.
