In the role you will support the Project Team in the development and management of healthcare infrastructure projects (HIPD) to meet MOH/MOHH’s requirements (i.e. to deliver projects within the expected time frame, budget and quality).If you are a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for contributing to the public healthcare sector, read on!JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with multiple authorities to ensure all requirements are metConsult authorities on land allocation, identify major issues for discussion and propose solutionsManage the projects approval process to ensure all approval papers are in order and are submitted on timeFurnish project data such as schedule of accommodation, timeline schedule, and budget for seeking fundingSupport the procurement process for consultancy services and buildersPrepare pre-qualification, expression of interest, tender documents, as well as involve in tender evaluation and recommendation for the procurement and appointment of consultants and buildersDeliver the projects within the stipulated time frame and budgets in addition to meeting MOH/MOHH quality requirementsManage consultants and builders to ensure effective delivery of projects. Area of responsibilities includes:Liaise with other Ministries and Authorities with project-related issuesManage Gateway/ Development Planning Committee (DPC) process to ensure timely attainment of project milestonesWork closely with consultants and builders to provide value-added inputs for effective designs to meet operational requirementsLiaise with clusters/operators to ensure that all users’ requirements are taken into considerationProcess payments in compliance with the contractLiaise with/ manage consultants, builders, authorities and service providers during the construction stage to achieve time, quality, cost and safety objectivesManage variation orders to ensure proper and timely documentation of recommendations to facilitate assessments and decisions from managementClosing of accounts and administrative closure for projectsMulti-task and handle ad-hoc assignments, including user acceptance testing and system checkingAcquire domain knowledge and build technical expertise within MOH/H for the development and implementation of healthcare infrastructure projectsConsolidate and share lesson learnedMulti-departmental collaborations to compile and streamline process; develop technical references etcAny other duties assignedJOB REQUIREMENTSJob-related bachelor degree. i.e. Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.Preferably with M&E accreditation recognised by the PE Board / BCA.Confident and able to work under pressureFamiliar with government procurement for infrastructure projectsPossess excellent planning, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills are essentialMinimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably project management backgroundA Sneak Peek into What You Can Expect to Learn:Growth Mindset: Embrace continuous learning and personal development through personalised training programs and mentorship from your team members.Impact: Make a significant impact by contributing to key projects that drive the company's strategic goals and mission.
