Job Description

Reporting into Associate Director of Public Affairs, the Assistant Manager of Project Management & Market Intelligence will be responsible for information and data collection, management and analysis to the President’s office of the LVMH Group in China. The position will be based in Shanghai. Collect and analyze data and information received from LVMH brands/companies in China and Regional Finance Department. Monitor the business performance of our brands and competition and maintain market information, with detailed analysis; and prepare the market intelligence & competition reports.

Collect and report key shopping mall’s monthly business performance and monitor high-end retail landscape and its evolution. Develop industry expertise by maintaining an awareness of industry trends, new business and retail development opportunities and key marketing/PR activities. Share the new and/or relevant information and knowledge in a timely manner with the line manager. Support the Group President and his office in delivering monthly reports and quarterly China Management Forum. Support the Group President and line manager on other ad-hoc projects or documentation as required. Key Requirements & Competencies: Bachelors degree from a respected institution.

Minimum 3 years of working experience gained in a corporate environment with an international network. Experience working in a role involving management of multiple projects towards tight timelines. Strong research & analytical skills: Experience with collecting and organizing information from internet and other resources. Ability to analyze and synthesize data into other formats and provides a succinct and accurate point of view/insight. Experience working in commercial real estate sector or retail development function in China is preferred. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word, and Simplified Chinese word processing. Detail-oriented, highly-organized; outstanding time management and able to prioritize multiple work deliverables.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory. Pleasant, mature, outgoing and self-motivated team player.
