About RoleThis role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of new consumer products, from early development to mass production. It involves planning, scheduling, and managing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. The incumbent coordinates assembly needs, updates specifications and BOMs, monitors project scope, budget, and timelines, and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards. They drive operational readiness, process optimization, and cost efficiency through Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong project management skills, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration are essential to ensure a smooth transition from concept to commercialization. Responsibilities and DutiesOversee planning and scheduling for the delivery of new consumer products before commercialization, focusing on new product development and product transfer Coordinate the assembly needs for new products, documenting and managing the entire process from initial stages to design finalization, involving both internal and external coordination. Maintain ownership of project scope, schedule, resources, and budget for successful delivery of new NPI projects, working closely with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to facilitate a smooth transition from development to mass production, acting as the point of contact between various teams. Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to update Bill of Materials (BOM) and specifications Participate actively in project team meetings to drive solutions and compile comprehensive project status reports, ensuring adherence to project scope and budget. Drive operational readiness to support development builds, trial manufacturing, and initial mass production, conducting necessary reviews and compiling detailed reports. Contribute to new process development, optimization of existing processes, and implementation of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate product costs and monitor against targets, actively seeking cost reduction opportunities. Manage project documentation in ClickUp software. Ensure systems and procedures compliance with the Organization's Quality standards and Regulatory requirements. Undertake any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the reporting Senior Management, ensuring efficient execution of tasks. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical) or related field. Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business is a plus 3–8 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or project management roles. Proven track record in NPI process — from concept to mass production. RequirementsExperience coordinating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing). Exposure to OEM/ODM vendor management and factory ramp-up preferred Specific Requirements Strong knowledge and hands-on in Project Management experience. Knowledge in lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality standards/regulatory requirements will be added advantage. Able to multi-task, meet deadlines with demonstrated ability to drive improvement Strong in Project Management with proven track record. Demonstrated strong ability to lead and drive meeting / discussion, communicate issues and resolve conflicts within cross functional teams Good planning and organization skills, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
