Today, the residential townsite houses up to 7,000 employees and their families.Position Summary:The candidate will take up a key role in the strategic planning team to support strategic decision making for the group. The role will be expected to support senior management on strategic mapping exercises and to facilitate discussions for management on key business matters. With the Group’s existing growth plans, the candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the Group, create value, and develop professionally in an exciting and challenging environment. The ideal candidate should be analytical with strategic thinking capabilities. S/he should have an open mind set with a “can-do” attitude and be flexible to take on various tasks. The position will report to the Head of Strategic Planning, and will require close coordination with the Group’s finance, commercial, operations teams. The candidate should be prepared for some business travels to our overseas manufacturing facilities and/or to meet business partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop the group’s long range growth plan and strategic focus map for the next 5 – 10 yearsConduct feasibility studies, market analysis, supply & demand models, internal/competitor benchmarking exercises to support investment decisions and/or enhance profitability of the businessSupport in merger & acquisition, investment opportunity analysis and evaluation, coordinating with external advisors and internal stakeholdersJob Requirements: Good degree in Finance, Accountancy or Engineering from a reputable university, CFA is a plusMinimum 5 years’ experience in corporate strategic planning / corporate development, business consulting or advisory rolesGood knowledge of corporate finance and investment principles with strong financial modelling skillsStrong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving aptitudeStrong communication skills, good verbal and written EnglishAbility to work independently and in a team, and to coordinate across business functionsAbility to work under pressure with tight timelinesIntegrity, positive attitude, versatile, hands-on approach, attention for details
