Assistant Merchandiser

Back to Basics (Pvt) Ltd, a fashion and apparel company operating under Elohim Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, is involved in the development and distribution of branded apparel and lifestyle products, working with internationally recognized licensed brands such as Barbie and Hot Wheels.We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support our merchandising, sales, and customer coordination functions.Key Responsibilities• Assist in managing the end-to-end merchandising and trim procurement process to ensure on-time delivery.• Prepare and submit trim cards and product details accurately and within required timelines.• Update and maintain style, order, and trim information in the system with high accuracy.• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to support smooth production flow.• Support system updates and ensure compliance with company requirements and procedures.• Ensure purchase orders, vendor details, costs, and specifications are correctly entered and updated.• Maintain accurate, complete, and real-time data in line with company standards.• Liaise with production, technical, and quality teams to follow up on approvals and bulk readiness.Individual Profile• Diploma or Degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business Management, or a related field.• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising (preferably in apparel manufacturing).• Good knowledge of trim sourcing, PO management, and garment production processes.• Hands-on experience with merchandising systems will be an added advantage.• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.How to ApplyIf you are confident and meet the above prerequisites, please forward your CV to: careers@b2basics.usBack to Basics (Pvt) LtdNo 20, Retreat Road,Colombo 04
