We are now searching for a curious and dynamic Assistant Operations Manager to manage daily operations, contribute to Synergraphic’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority.As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations by working with a cross-functional team. As someone overseeing the entire process, you will need to have big picture vision while maintaining an intimate knowledge of every department and various processes.You will be responsible for ensuring production and project deadlines are met while maintaining quality control standards. You will also report to the Operations Manager & CEO, helping to create policies, processes and strategies that help Synergraphic run efficiently and profitably.The goal here is to mitigate operational errors on a daily basis to continue driving processes forward, building a strong foundation for Synergraphic to achieve greater growth for all.Your Responsibilities IncludeAssist Operations Manager in the daily operations and manpower planning to ensure smooth operations of the workplaceLiaise with Clients/Suppliers/Sub-contractors and co-ordinate with project / retail teams to confirm and process ordersForecast, plan and schedule manpower and materials for measurement, production and installation works to meet project requirements and deadlinesUpdate daily operations reportPerform inventory control and monitor stock movementPrepare relevant documents including POs, quotations and claimsPerform verifications of suppliers/sub-contractors billingsArrange incoming/outgoing documentations and schedulesAssist the management in developing strategic long-term plans to achieve strategic goals and objectivesOther ad-hoc assignments requiredTechnical SkillsMin. Diploma in any Manufacturing or Engineering discipline, or related disciplinesAt least 10 years of relevant experience in Building Materials IndustryUse of all relevant Microsoft softwareExperience with glazing materials and methods is preferredExperience in directing and supervising production personnelSoft SkillsStrong communication skillsAble to lead and drive continuous improvementAble to negotiate and adapt to ongoing changes in manpower and material availabilityExcellent planning and organisational abilitiesGood team player and adaptable to a dynamic environmentAble to work well under stress and problem-solveAble to multitask
