The B.S. in Biology degree is a broad undergraduate degree which prepares students for the modern workplace, graduate school or pre-professional schools (e.g., medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy).Job SummaryMiddle Georgia State University is seeking a candidate for the position of tenure track Assistant Professor of Biology for the School of Health and Natural Sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences to begin fall 2026. This position involves teaching, scholarship and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/ or upper-level biology courses. Travel from Dublin campus to Cochran campus will be required.ResponsibilitiesThis position involves teaching undergraduate courses and scholarship. All faculty are expected to assist in student recruitment, curriculum development, mentoring, and serving on departmental and university committees. Travel among our campuses will be required as needed.
