Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and capable part-time Assistant Program Manager for our Meter Adapter Program.Note that the expectation is that this job will be worked every weekday for 2-5 hours.TOP THINGS:1) a passion for customer service. This person will spend their time emailing with customers, installers and PG&E field teams to troubleshoot issues.2) Ability to learn and retain complex information. The program is technically complex and while I don’t require a technical background, I am looking for someone with curiosity and aptitude.3) IMPORTANT: Attitude. looking for someone who shows up with a positive attitude, who wants to help, and be part of a team that succeeds together.Responsibilities:• Communicate clearly with customers who have questions with a focus on collaborative problem solving and maintaining positive interactions.• Track and follow up on numerous inquiries and escalations.• Build collaborative relationships with internal partners.• Oversee the application process and address exceptions or escalations that arise in daily processing.• Assist in improving current processes and building formal processes and procedures for this new and evolving program.Minimum Qualifications:• A love of customer service paired with a willingness to learn new programs and platforms and a positive and collaborative attitude.• Strong project and time management skills.• Exceptional attention to detail. This is essential to job success.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate technical details. Technical background not required, but a willingness to learn is.• Strong critical thinking and problems solving skills including the ability to apply technical standards to customer inquiries and lessons learned to IT platform bugs.• Ability to retain and build on program knowledge and insights.Desired Qualifications:• Experience in customer service or customer escalations or a demonstrated commitment to customers.• Curiosity and enthusiasm about the services being offered to customers through this program• Demonstrated ability to manage processes and keep track of multiple moving pieces at once.• A desire to learn something new, take ownership, and make the program better for PG&E and customers.• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
