The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure design projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with regulatory standards.Integrates the various engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of a small project. May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations. Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance. Relocation to the project site may be required during construction and start-up activities.Project CoordinationWhat You'll Be Doing:Assist in managing day-to-day project activities across design disciplines (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.).Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, authorities, and contractors.Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project management tools.Design ManagementSupport the review and integration of design inputs from various disciplines.Ensure design documentation meets quality standards and complies with local regulations and client specifications.Facilitate design review meetings and follow up on action items.Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, progress reports, and submission logs.Assist in compiling IFC (Issued for Construction) packages and NOC (No Objection Certificate) submissions.Stakeholder EngagementLiaise with government authorities for approvals and permits.Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager for resolution.What Required Skills You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.3–5 years of experience in infrastructure design or project coordination.Familiarity with design standards and approval processes in the region.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
