PROJECT COORDINATOR | Assistant Project Manager Commercial + Mixed-Use Projects | Sydney We’re representing a boutique construction group delivering a 6-storey commercial and retail development in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for a long-term private developer partner. With a growing pipeline and a hands-on leadership team, they’re now seeking a Project Coordinator to join their delivery arm as the business continues to expand.This role would ideally suit someone coming from a Contracts Administration or Site Engineering background who’s ready to step up and take on broader project responsibilities.About the RoleSupport the Project Manager across all phases — procurement, contract administration, and on-site coordination.Assist with programming, progress reporting, and subcontractor management.Take ownership of QA documentation, RFIs, ITPs, and defect management.Collaborate closely with the Site Manager to ensure delivery aligns with program and quality standards.Exposure to both office and site-based environments, offering end-to-end project visibility.What You’ll BringBackground with a head contractor or developer/builder — no subcontractor profiles.Strong grounding in either Contracts Administration or Site Engineering, ideally both.Understanding of commercial or Class 2 mixed-use construction processes.Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, delivery-focused team.Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn directly from senior leadership.Why This RoleWork closely with an experienced Project Manager and Director who value mentoring and development.Flat structure – your input matters, and your growth is supported.Exposure to a flagship project that will help define the business’s delivery reputation.Genuine opportunity to step up into Project Management over time.
