Voluntary Assistant Psychologist (1 day per week, 6 months)Location: [Galway / Hybrid / Online]Start Date: January 2026Commitment: 1 day per week (flexible)Duration: 6 monthsSupervisor: Chartered Psychologist, My Psychology IrelandAbout the RoleMy Psychology Ireland is offering a voluntary Assistant Psychologist role for an enthusiastic psychology graduate seeking to gain professional experience within a supportive private practice environment.This opportunity is designed for early-career psychologists who wish to develop applied skills and insight into clinical work while contributing meaningfully to a busy practice.The role involves supporting our clinicians in a range of tasks, including:Assisting with scoring and interpretation of psychometric assessments under supervisionDeveloping and organising clinical resources and materialsSupporting delivery of group programmes and webinarsAssisting in service development, audits, or research projectsParticipating in regular supervision and reflective practiceWhy This is a Voluntary RoleAs a small independent psychology practice, employing an Assistant Psychologist represents a considerable financial investment.
