Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We’re working with a respected construction business in North County Dublin that’s looking to add a Junior Quantity Surveyor to its commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s early in their career and keen to build their experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment.The Role You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager, supporting on a range of quantity surveying tasks across active projects. The work is varied and will give you exposure to all aspects of commercial management — from cost reporting and subcontractor management to valuations and client liaison.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly contract cost reports and management accounts informationHelp prepare subcontractor appointment documentsSupport procurement of subcontractors and specialist suppliersAssist with progress applications, interim valuations, and final accountsContribute to monthly drawdowns to fundersMaintain reporting arrangements, resources, and client relationshipsThis role will evolve as you gain experience, so flexibility and a willingness to learn are key.The Ideal Candidate You’ll likely have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with some hands-on experience (placement or post-grad) in a construction or commercial environment.
