The Assistant Sales Manager plays a critical role as a primary driver of sales growth and distributormanagement, working in close collaboration with the Country Manager. Serving as one of Bray’s key representatives in the market, this role is instrumental in building strong relationships with customers and distributors while ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.With a focus on water and wastewater treatment, mining, chem/petrochemical and geothermal industries, the Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for achieving revenue and order booking targets, retaining existing customers through tailored solutions, and expanding market presence by identifying and developing new opportunities. The position also manages and supports distributors, oversees the full sales process from initial engagement to purchase order, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.Job Description (Areas of Responsibility)· Work closely with Indonesia’s Country Manager to implement and execute sales strategies inaccordance with the strategic direction established within the country.· Drive sales of Bray products in Indonesia, with a primary focus on the Water and WastewaterTreatment, Mining, Chem/Petrochemical and Geothermal industries.· Achieve or exceed order bookings and sales revenue targets in line with established goals.· Retain existing customers by providing tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.· Identify and develop new customers through marketing initiatives, competitor analysis, andbusiness development strategies within the assigned region.· Manage and support distributors to increase Bray’s order bookings.· Engage and follow up with prospective clients to successfully close deals.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order execution.· Oversee and manage the entire sales process, from initial engagement to receipt of purchaseorders.Core Competencies· Candidates with 7 to 10 years’ experience on sales of Industrial valves can apply.· A full-time degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation or similar engineering streams.· Proficiency in oral & written English and Indonesian language.· At least 5 years of outside sales experience in the field of Manual, On-Off or Control valves, Actuators, Controls & Accessories.· Proficiency in managing quote funnel through CRM (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred)· A strong knowledge of Indonesian market and experience in handling customers.· Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.· Willingness to travel to customer or manufacturing locations.
