About the RoleThe Assistant Sourcing Manager will explore and develop advance technology to facilitate the new product development and sourcing related opportunities in the coming 12 months. This role will be acting as the interface between supplier and design engineering to determine new and alternative sourcing strategy. The role is required to work at SZ R&D Centre, locates at Futian & opportunities to travel to China and overseas.Responsibilities:Source and develop local suppliers on electronics & mechanical parts such as plastic, metal, PCB as well as packing, to support Thailand operations.Responsible to lead a small team of sourcing professional to implement the action items to ensure that the set goals are achieved.Analyze the market environment, industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity and or alternative of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities.Systematically evaluate suppliers core competencies and competitive positioning in order to ensure they are the right strategy partners with the company.Manage the suppliers' performance analysis to ensure they maintain at competitiveness level (On time delivery / Trend / Price / Capability / Production capacity).Maintain and develop supplier relationships (trade shows, regular supplier meetings, conferences, etc.).Support the Head of Sourcing to establish sourcing policies and system to ensure the compliance.Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.Develop, train and provide guidance to the subordinates. Qualifications & Experience:Degree holder or above in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.Knowledge to Sundry sourcing is definitely an advantage.At least 8 years of relevant experience with 3 years at supervisory level.Experience in high quality audio / high-end electronics products or related products preferred.
