“ENDEAVOUR THROUGH ADVERSITY”Job Title: Assistant Store Manager - ThruDark Pop-Up StoreReports to: Retail ManagerLocation: Battersea Power StationContract: Temporary (approx. 10 weeks) 40 hours per weekSalary: £17.30 per hourAbout The RoleThruDark is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to support the successful operation of our Battersea Power Station pop-up store.This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to help lead a premium retail environment during one of our most high-profile activations. As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Retail Manager, driving daily performance, motivating your team, and ensuring every customer leaves with an exceptional impression of the brand.You’ll act as a role model on the shop floor - leading with confidence, integrity, and a hands-on approach that reflects ThruDark’s core values of Humility, Unity and Integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Retail Manager in all aspects of store operations, from sales and service to staffing and complianceLead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed performance targetsAct as the duty manager when required, including opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and overseeing daily KPIsDeliver an outstanding customer experience, maintaining the highest levels of product knowledge and serviceAssist with product presentation and visual merchandising in line with brand standardsIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer engagementSupport stock control, replenishment, and loss prevention proceduresEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirementsAbout YouExperience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead within premium or performance retailStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop othersCommercially minded, confident analysing KPIs and driving resultsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail settingFlexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as requiredProficiency in POS systems and MS OfficeIn ReturnBe part of a passionate, high-performing retail team during an exciting new launchCompetitive hourly rateThruDark kit vouchers throughout the contractAll the latest tech & software you need to perform your roleEnhanced pension schemeSupportive and inclusive workplace culture.
