The Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, has an opening for a position asAssistant (tenure-track) Professor or Associate Professorin the Department of Molecular and Cellular BiologyThe Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology (www.mocel.unige.ch) offers a highly dynamic andstimulating research environment, recognized for its excellence in molecular and cellular analyses of thefundamental processes in living organisms.PROFILE: Candidates pursuing internationally recognized research in molecular or cellular biology, genomics,(epi)genetics, proteomics, systems biology or advanced imaging are encouraged to apply. The use of multidisciplinary approaches and research topics that complement those of existing research groups is an asset. The successful candidate is expected to develop an innovative research program at the highest international leveland secure external funding.Duties include teaching in fundamental molecular or cell biology at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels,supervision of masters' and doctoral theses, as well as management and organizational responsibilities withinthe Department and the Faculty.FORMAL REQUIREMENTS: PhD degree or equivalent.STARTING DATE: May 1st 2026 or as agreed.Applications Must Include The Following DocumentsCover letter ;Detailed CV together with a list of publications ;Copy of highest degrees/diploma ;Research and teaching statements (1 page each) ;Description of research project (3 pages) ;List of referees who may later be contacted directly by the search committee.
