As the key liaison between prestigious hotels, restaurants, and Placement International, you will assess hiring needs, match ideal candidates, and conduct mock interviews to prepare applicants for successful placements. This role requires a deep understanding of hotel operations and international recruitment, along with leadership and networking expertise to manage a robust talent pool and ensure seamless coordination with global offices for recruitment events. Your expertise will guide both candidates and partner properties, fostering valuable, long-term connections across the luxury hospitality industry.RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in 4-5 star hotels; managerial experience in luxury hotels is preferred.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large volumes of talent pools and fulfill diverse hiring needs with a focus on mentorship and team guidance.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Spanish as a plus.Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for efficient documentation and reporting.Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, partner properties, and internal teams.Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and balance a high volume of recruitment needs.Sales and Service Orientation: A profile oriented towards sales and human resources, with a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering service excellence.Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring relevant expertise in luxury hospitality.Legal Requirements: Possession of legal documentation to work and reside in Spain (assistance provided if necessary).ResponsibilitiesCandidate Matching:Match appropriate candidates with the most suitable international job offerings, ensuring alignment with their career aspirations and skill sets.Partner Communication:Manage communication with partner host companies, conveying detailed requirements on cultural exchange programs, visa regulations for international hires, and welcome packages to ensure smooth onboarding.Team Leadership:Coach and mentor a young, dynamic, and multicultural team, supporting professional development and fostering a positive work environment.CV Screening and Candidate Communication:Oversee the screening of CVs and maintain ongoing communication with international candidates, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process.Interview Preparation:Organize, oversee, and conduct mock interviews, in addition to arranging interviews with recruiters and host employers, ensuring candidates are well-prepared and confident.International Coordination:Maintain contact with other global Placement International offices to coordinate recruitment events, including international recruitment fairs and virtual events for luxury hotels and restaurants.Event Management:Organize and manage international recruitment fairs and virtual events, ensuring a successful engagement with top-tier hospitality brands and candidates worldwide.Career Alignment:Ensure candidates are hired for roles that support their long-term career goals, providing guidance and encouragement along the way.Training Plan Creation:Develop and create template training plans for J1 interns and trainees hired by American Host Employers, supporting a structured and successful training experience.Why Join Us?At Placement International, you’ll be part of a passionate, multicultural team dedicated to building transformative career opportunities in the global luxury hospitality industry.
