Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - PR & Issues Management - English In this highly visible and impactful role, the leader will work across Genpact to conceptualize and execute an impactful communications program, leveraging all channels and tactics for Europe, prioritizing the following client markets (UK, France, Germany) and talent markets (Poland, Romania). They will work lead Europe PR and Reputation Management cross-functionally to build, protect and defend Genpact’s brand. Responsibilities Public Relations Partner with designated European leaders to shape the communications program, establish KPIs for success, deliver growth objectives and build Genpact’s corporate reputation and employer brand in region Manage Genpact’s Germany PR Agency of Record for the overall execution of the program, to track overall performance and deadlines Identify and onboard PR agencies to support other markets. Continuous media mapping to identify journalists and build enduring relationships with them; create narratives that reinforce Genpact as experts in our chosen areas Collaborate with Global PR team to work with business and vertical/service line teams to align and create plans for thought leadership, programs/ products/ solutions, and launches which can be amplified through communications Identify conferences, and speaking opportunities in Europe for Genpact spokespersons Conduct media training for regional leaders and support high-priority activations in-region (larger vertical events and corporate sponsored initiatives) Reputation Management Manage crisis communications and preparedness and overall reputation management activities, with a specific focus on Europe. Act as communications lead on regional-based crises. Partner with and provide communications counsel to key HR, legal, and business stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed about crisis response progress and decisions. Maintain updates in Reputation Management Crisis Playbook and Tracker. Help implement reputation management training, Playbook open office hours, and related stakeholder awareness sessions. Identify potential regional reputation management issues like geopolitical concerns, and/or client and operations issues. Develop communications contingency plans. Monitor traditional and social media with appropriate teams for crises and pertinent reputation management concerns (Meltwater, social, talent marketing, etc.) Collaborate and support global Communications team on established and ad-hoc reporting, demonstrating business value the function drives. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Relevant years’ background in public relations or corporate communications, with some experience at a large global company, preferably in technology or professional services. Prior PR agency experience a plus. Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to manage ambiguity. Experience working with senior leadership, preferably C-suite executives. Solid professionalism and ability to navigate nuances in corporate politics. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Agility and need-for-speed, capable of managing multiple critical projects at once. Excellent writing skills, research, and communication skills.
