The successful candidate will be reporting to Vice President, Product Management and will plays a key role in driving product innovation and execution to support the firm’s strategic growth. This includes developing and enhancing investment solutions across unit trusts, discretionary portfolios, and insurance-linked offerings. The role focuses on delivering impactful, market-relevant products that contribute to business growth and net new money. It also supports distribution through training, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring strong governance and alignment with regulatory standards. With a focus on execution excellence and cross-functional collaboration, the Product Specialist is integral to delivering differentiated solutions and advancing BOSWM MY’s business priorities on revenue and net new money. Key Responsibilities1. Product Innovation & DevelopmentDesign and enhance investment products that align with BOSWM MY, IUTA, and insurance partners requirements, while capturing emerging market opportunities.Identify and address product gaps across unit trust funds, discretionary portfolios, and insurance-linked solutions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders—including OBMB WM, BOS-ISG, BOS-CIO Office, IUTAs, and insurance partners—to co-develop and refine product offerings.Review, assess, and upgrade existing products to ensure continued competitiveness and relevance.2. Product Marketing, Training & CoachingLead and facilitate product training sessions, workshops, and client-facing events for BOSWM MY, BOS SG, IUTAs, and insurance partners.Build and strengthen product knowledge and confidence across front office and distribution teams.Develop and deliver engaging, accurate, and effective product marketing and training materials to support sales and client engagement / events.3. Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationEngage and coordinate with cross-functional teams including Investment, Sales, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Insurance.Serve as the primary liaison between product teams and distribution partners (BOSWM, IUTAs, Insurance) to ensure alignment and seamless execution.Support and participate in client meetings, discussions to drive product understanding and adoption.4. Research & Market AnalysisConduct market research and peer benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.Analyze product performance and investor behavior to inform product enhancements and positioning.Prepare and present product papers and strategic recommendations to board, management and product committees.5.
