Job Description

JOB PURPOSETo support and assist the Section Head of Technology Compliance, Group Compliance, in promoting and managing the regulatory compliance requirements related to Technology within Investment Banking.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct independent reviews on Technology-related areas to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and procedures.Assist in developing, updating, and executing Technology Compliance programs in accordance with the latest regulatory requirements applicable to the regulated activities.Assist in developing and reviewing Technology Compliance policies and procedures, as well as independent reviewer for business units under Technology Compliance purview.Provide Technology-related compliance advisory support to help internal stakeholders understand and interpret relevant regulatory requirements applicable to the regulated activities.Assist in preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports on regulatory matters for Senior Management, the Board, and Regulators.Assist in responding to queries and information requests related to Technology from regulators.Support the Section Head of Technology Compliance in any other responsibilities or tasks assigned from time to time.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Technology within a financial institution, with specialization in compliance, audit, or risk management.In-depth knowledge of current Technology-related regulatory requirements issued by BNM, the Securities Commission (SC), and Bursa Malaysia is a MUST.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security.ITIL or other relevant certifications in IT Governance or Technology Compliance are preferred.Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and security will be an added advantage.Able to work independently under pressure, with minimal supervision.Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various departments.Proficient in report writing.
