Location: Hershey, PADepartment: Hershey Experience & Food ServiceSummary of Role:This entrepreneurial role will support National Food Service team in building Hershey brands’ relevance in the Food Service channel. This role involves marrying customer priorities with deep consumer insight/data and our brand growth ambitions to identify joint programming that will fuel consumer demand. Focus will be on communication and collaboration with the Food Service customer team to drive customer buy-in and programming execution. Key cross-functional collaborators will be Brand Managers, Portfolio Innovation, R&D, Strategy, Insights as well as Supply Chain.Role Responsibilities:Partner with National Food Service customer team to build the strategic business plan, identifying joint programming opportunities and building the brand strategy to support the plan.Identify key customer collaborations to deliver strategic brand growth ambitions based on Hershey brands’ identified jobs to be done (JTBD).Make program recommendations based on R&D feasibility and supply chain supportability. Analyze consumer insights as well as syndicated and external data to make fact-based, strategic program recommendations. Be the internal expert on select customers, understanding key customer strategies and success metrics to create collaborative, consumer-first, brand-building plans.Interaction with internal stakeholders up to 4 bandInfluence growth of NFS and strategic brand development targetsDesired knowledge, skills, and abilities:Candidate should possess a high level of analytical acumen and proven ability to manage ambiguity with creative thinking and problem solving. Candidate should have the ability to demonstrate a quantitative skillset as a requirement: proficient in excel, analytical skills, data management, etc. Experience in PlanEx preferred, not mandatory.Willingness to travel to visit customers. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education –Bachelor’s degree required, specifically in Marketing, Business, or other related field.Experience –At least 3-4 years of marketing experienceFood Service Operations experience preferred
