Job Description

Forensic Technology Services (FTS) is a specialised team within PwC’s Forensic Services, focusing on the acquisition, analysis, and management of digital evidence. We help clients respond to allegations of fraud and conflicts of interest, cyber incidents, regulatory investigations, and litigation matters by leveraging forensic tools and e-discovery platforms. Our work spans across industries and jurisdictions, supporting clients in navigating complex digital challenges.As an Associate in FTS, you’ll play a hands-on role in uncovering digital evidence that supports investigations and legal matters. You’ll collect and examine data from devices like computers and phones, help prepare it for review, and ensure everything is handled securely and professionally. Your responsibilities will include:Digital forensicsPerform forensic acquisitions and analysis of digital devices including computers, mobile phones, servers, and cloud-based platforms.Maintain strict chain of custody and evidence handling protocols.Document forensic methodologies and findings in a clear, defensible manner.Conduct data recovery and analysis using industry-standard forensic toolsSupport the preparation of forensic reports and expert testimony for legal proceedings.E-discoveryManage end-to-end e-discovery engagements, including data scoping, collection, processing, review, and production.Use e-Discovery platforms to support document review workflows.Support the team in liaising with legal teams and clients to define discovery protocols and ensure defensibility.Support the team in monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent engagements.Operational & team supportMaintain and troubleshoot forensic lab equipment and software.Collaborate with team members to refine protocols and improve service delivery.Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.Research emerging technologies and techniques to enhance forensic capabilities.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Assisting the broader team in other tasks as and when required.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Digital Forensics, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related fields is not a requirement but will be advantageous.1–2 years of experience in digital forensics, e-discovery, and/or cyber investigations is preferred.Certifications such as EnCE, CDFFR, GCFA, Nuix Investigate Administrator, Relativity Certified Administrator, or similar are advantageous.Strong English language skills for use in preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials and reports.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.High integrity and strong attention to detail.Willingness to travel and work on engagements with short notice.
